Gabriel Than Hlaing Oo
Gabriel Than Hlaing Oo is currently working as a Lead Researcher for Situational Analysis (SITAN) on Sexual Exploitation of Children Online (SECO) and in Travel and Tourism (SECTT) for ECPAT International and Myanmar Responsible TI based in Yangon, Myanmar. In this research, he is responsible for all stages of research including developing a research plan, carrying out field research in six tourism hotspots, conducting data analysis, preparing a comprehensive evidence-based report, as well as taking all stakeholder viewpoints into consideration.
He is a development management professional in the INGOs and LNGOs sector with 15 years working experience and facilitating trainings such as Organizational Leadership & Management and Child Psychology and Counseling.
Gabriel Than Hlaing Oo received a Master Degree in Development Management from Ruhr University of Bochum, Germany. He is passionate about sustainable development, humanitarian assistance and responsible tourism. He enjoys managing to achieve goals through stakeholder engagement & partnerships. He is a goal-driven organizational leader who manages by showing a good example and motivates his colleagues with love and empathy.
